Purpose
Give the emerging generation of leaders a voice, a platform and a community forum to stir each other, raise the standard, and share what God is doing as they step into their place in the body of Christ. It is my contention that the next generation of leaders are not just coming, but are here. We also want to see fathers and mothers in the faith give love, support, and counsel to those who are now stepping into their calling to draw from the wisdom of the past and find new pathways for the future.
Who is it for?
Elisha Rising is for everyone in the body of Christ on some level. But it is specifically designed for young leaders who are already emerging as leaders in their gifts and calling. It is not for the five-fold ministry only, but the entire spectrum of emerging leaders in every arena of Christianity including business, entertainment, worship, arts, media, government, education etc. God is releasing tremendous creativity in the rising generation of believers that touches every mountain in society. The church is truly beginning to emerge outside the walls of corporate gatherings into the world.
What are the features?
The website will be a focal point that has articles from and for young leaders about issues that they face, what God is doing through their lives, and from veteran mother’s and fathers in the faith occasionally to help support and encourage. Anyone can go on the website and read the articles and learn about emerging ministries and expressions of what God is doing in the church today.
But there will be a members contingent that only members can access. It will give access to a blog and a twice-yearly forum with members, one on the east coast and one on the west coast. Members will have their own profile page, be able to post events they hold for free, and have access to mother’s and fathers in the faith for counsel, friendship, and fellowship.
The yearly forums, monthly online forums, and blogs are to build relationship and to stir each other up to reach for the standard of the fullness of Christ individually and corporately as the body of Christ. We want to stir each other to reach the full potential in our calling in a way that glorifies Jesus Christ.

If you just want to enjoy the articles and information on the website, just subscribe to it in the sidebar. But if you want to join, there is an application page and a yearly members fee to pay for the administration of the site and Elisha Rising as a ministry that is reaching out to help this generation step into their calling with not just the site, but relational ways to connect people.
