Layne Penney

Layne is a Junior at Oral Roberts University. He is a chaplain of a wing in the campus dorms and the co-leader of the ORU first year leadership program called Blueprint. There they train and equip a select group of first year students to be effective in their gifts and callings. When faced with a decision to choose God or this world, Layne chose God and will never turn back. Layne's passion is to see the body of Christ come together in the unity that Jesus describes in John 17. He desires to see people come to “know…the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom [He] has sent” (John 17:3).
